Quick, Healthy, and Delicous- Salmon, Green Beans, and Brown Rice

Broiled Salmon with Sauteed Green Beans and Brown Rice

Step 1: First, I marinated the salmon fillet overnight in a mixture of olive oil, oregano, McCormicks Fiery Spice, and black pepper.

Step 2: I baked the salmon for approximately 15 minutes in the oven at 425 degrees. While the salmon was cooking, I boiled a serving of brown rice and cut and prepared the green beans (prepare brown rice according to the package, usually a rolling boil, then simmer for approximately 30-40 minutes)

Step 3: In the meantime, prepare a serving of green beans and fill the bottom of a skillet with water. Submerge the green beans in the water and boil until it is cooked. Once the water has gone away, add in enough olive oil to cover the green beans and continue to sautee on medium high.

Step 4: Now, broil the fish for about 5 minutes (or as to desired crispiness) and take the green beans off the skillet. Once the rice is ready, plate all the ingredients together and serve!
